Omegatype has a complete, full-service art department. Our artists work on projects of all sizes, ranging from making minor fixes of author-supplied art files to complete four-color art programs.

Our involvement in your art program means that control is centralized at one location. There are no delays in production or finger pointing when something doesn't work.

Author-supplied art can sometimes hinder production. Many authors are not aware of the exacting demands of high-quality book production. Delays and increased costs often result from art created by inexperienced people using non-standard software.

At Omegatype we pride ourselves on being able to convert and utilize files supplied to us, no matter what system or software they were created with. Our in-house artists routinely work with author-supplied art to make editorial corrections and unify styles to make the art consistent throughout the package. We can also make minor corrections later in the production process to avoid last-minute delays due to errors in the art.
